The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national computer-based entrance exam for management programs at AICTE-approved universities across the country. On the directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), CMAT was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) until 2018. Beginning in 2019, the National Testing Agency will conduct the test.(NTA).
CMAT exam is a three-hour computer-based online exam that is administered in one sitting to assess a candidate’s aptitude in areas such as quantitative technique, logical reasoning, language comprehension, and general awareness.
As part of its goal to alleviate students of the stress of several tests, AICTE introduced the first national-level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) in 2012 to aid institutions in selecting eligible persons for admission to all management programs authorized by AICTE.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the results of all applicants who took the test on February 22, 2022. Candidates will learn their section-by-section and overall results in the end. By inputting their login credentials, candidates can obtain their CMAT results. The scores were calculated by assigning +4 points for correct answers and -1 points for incorrect responses. However, a score of 0 was given for no answer.
Aspirants should be aware of how CMAT scores will be calculated. If the sectional scores of two or more candidates are similar, the sectional scores will be utilized to rank them.
